Summary

A person's base, an infinite number of crossings. In this terrible time and space, I have been shuttled again and again, and I have been lonely and desperate again and again, and I have come to different times again and again. From the Somme in the First World War to China in the Second World War; from Berlin under the Allied attack, to the war-torn Afghanistan. He never knows when it is the end. His purpose is only one: go home! But this wish seems so unrealizable.
